This project is a love letter to designer, writer, educator and lover of typography: Gail Anderson. Written, edited, designed, and constructed by yours truly, this monograph is inspired by her collection of letter press wood type. The title of the monograph comes from a quote by Marvin Mattelson that was used on a Paul Davis poster promoting the School of Visual Arts. She attributes this quote as the reason why she attended the university, and often speaks highly of the quote’s influence on her career.
